Responsibilities
Supervise and support customer order desks in BC and AB, managing daily performance and service standards.
Train, mentor, and evaluate order desk employees to maintain high productivity and customer satisfaction.
Coordinate directly with customers and retail portals regarding order changes, product availability, and delivery logistics.
Manage and dispute proposed deductions from late deliveries by tracking communications and collaborating with the logistics team.
Oversee pricing accuracy by maintaining customer-specific price lists and tracking rebate programs.
Lead cross-departmental efforts with Production and Logistics to ensure order allocations align with inventory supply.
Handle and resolve customer complaints promptly, following established management procedures to ensure professional resolution.
Generate monthly sales reports and documentation for stakeholders, including government-required traceability records.
Support new product launches and marketing initiatives by ensuring sell sheets and portal entries are accurate.
Ensure departmental compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, holding staff accountable for safe work procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3–5 years in a supervisory or senior customer service role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
University degree in Business is preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and experience with ERP systems or customer portals.
Proven leadership ability to train, mentor, and work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
Exceptional communication skills, including professional writing, superior telephone manners, and interpersonal skills.
Meticulous attention to detail with strong records maintenance and filing system skills.
Strong knowledge of general office procedures involving procurement, distribution, and data privacy laws.
Superior time management and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks under minimal supervision.
