As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the backbone of daily operations, ensuring seamless order entry and exceptional client satisfaction. Your expertise will be crucial in managing a high-volume order desk, processing 25 to 50 orders daily, and adapting to customized proprietary ERP software. This role requires full professional proficiency in English, as you will communicate daily with English-speaking clients, vendors, and internal teams across the network to provide quotes, negotiate pricing, and finalize orders.

Responsibilities
• Accurately fulfilling customer orders and managing incoming customer calls.
• Responds to basic customer inquires regarding products, provides quotes, and handles order entry.
• Influences gross profit through negotiating the sale price and purchase price, within certain parameters.
• May adjust non-contract customer pricing to meet the demands of the customer based on competition.
• Builds customer relationships to drive repeat business by relating to the customer and drive process improvements.
• Determines the most cost effective shipping method for customer orders.
• May place orders without approval for orders up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per purchase order.
• Expedites backorders.
• Sources products in branch inventory, distribution center inventory or supplier inventory.
Qualifications
• Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and listening.
• Reliability, organization, and attention to detail required.
• Ability to multi-task and time management skills required.
• Moderate computer skills, including information processing, communicating internally and externally via email, using business systems and searching capabilities.
• High adaptability and a flexible mindset to learn and operate customized ERP software.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Zero (0) to three (3) years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Minimum 1-2 years of order desk experience (5+ years of industrial product experience required for the maximum salary tier).
• Ability to work 100% on-site at the Scarborough location.
