The Details:
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Straight days, zero rotational shift work)
Compensation: $40.00 to $47.50 hourly (Commensurate with your hands-on expertise)
Location: Ardrossan, Alberta
Contract Duration: August - October

Responsibilities
Execute top-tier, precision welds, focusing heavily on flat and horizontal welding positions.
Expertly apply Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) and Metal-Cored Arc Welding (MCAW) techniques to strictly adhere to client specifications.
Analyze, review, and accurately interpret complex mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
Uphold rigorous shop cleanliness and safety protocols, while providing occasional guidance to junior apprentices on the floor.
Guarantee that all completed fabrication complies meticulously with CWB regulations and our strict in-house quality assurance metrics.
Qualifications
Possession of a Journeyperson Red Seal or Provincial Ticket is required.
Active, up-to-date CWB Tickets in FCAW and MCAW processes.
Demonstrated, hands-on professional background working within a busy industrial shop fabrication setting.
Exceptional capacity to produce work rapidly without ever compromising the structural integrity of the welds.
Must have your own dependable personal vehicle to commute to the Ardrossan facility (please note this location has zero public transit access).
An unwavering dedication to occupational health and safety standards, alongside an excellent track record of punctuality.
