Position Overview
- Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Enjoy straight day shifts with absolutely no rotational or evening work required).
- Pay Rate: $40.00 – $47.50 per hour (Compensation will be strictly based on your proven practical experience and overall skill level).
- Worksite Location: Ardrossan, Alberta.
- Term Length: Flexible options for a short 2-week stint or a comprehensive 3-month contract (Running from August through October).

Responsibilities
Perform high-quality, precise welding tasks, with a strong emphasis on mastering both flat and horizontal positional welding.
Utilize your extensive knowledge of Flux-Cored (FCAW) and Metal-Cored (MCAW) processes to build components that flawlessly meet exact customer requirements.
Thoroughly examine, decode, and work directly from intricate engineering blueprints, schematic diagrams, and standardized welding symbols.
Maintain impeccable housekeeping and stringent safety standards across the shop floor, while also stepping up to mentor and support junior tradespeople when required.
Ensure absolutely every piece of finished metalwork adheres strictly to overarching CWB standards as well as our internal quality control benchmarks.
Qualifications
Possession of a Journeyperson Red Seal or Provincial Ticket is required.
Possess currently active and valid CWB certifications specifically for FCAW.
Showcase a proven, practical history of employment operating within a high-speed, demanding industrial manufacturing or fabrication facility.
Demonstrate the unique ability to maintain a very high production pace while simultaneously ensuring absolute perfection in weld quality and structural soundness.
Own a reliable car or truck for daily commuting purposes, as our Ardrossan worksite is entirely inaccessible via city buses or other forms of public transportation.
Exhibit a steadfast commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, coupled with a documented history of exceptional attendance and on-time arrivals.
