Responsibilities
•Lead data modelling activities across the full data delivery lifecycle
•Collaborate with business and technical teams to define data requirements and solutions
•Translate business needs into technical user stories and data specifications
•Develop and document source to target mappings, data lineage, and transformation rules
•Conduct gap analysis to identify data issues and reporting needs
•Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance standards are met
•Analyze existing data structures and understand end to end data flows
•Support ETL design and contribute to data solution development
•Present findings and facilitate discussions with stakeholders to align on requirements
•Create clear, concise documentation to support solution design and stakeholder sign off
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
•7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, ideally within Risk, Finance, or CRM environments
•Hands on experience with Databricks and platforms such as ERP or Salesforce
•Strong experience across the full data lifecycle, including data modelling, ETL, data quality, and data governance
•Proficiency in SQL and experience with programming languages such as Python or R
•Experience with Azure Data Platform technologies
•Ability to create data models, source to target mappings, and ETL specifications
•Strong analytical and problem solving skills with high attention to detail
•Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
•Experience with tools such as Erwin and knowledge of Spark SQL is considered an asset
