The position requires deep expertise in ETL design and implementation, automated scripting for data validation, and end-to-end data reconciliation using tools such as SQL (Oracle, MS SQL Server), MS Access, and modern data formats (JSON, CSV, spreadsheets). You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, delivery teams, and a SaaS implementation partner to develop and execute a comprehensive data migration strategy. Ideal candidates will have at least 8 years of hands-on data migration experience, 4 years in a team leadership capacity, and a proven track record of working on large-scale enterprise transformation projects. Experience with cloud-based SaaS implementations, Master Data Management, and Data Governance is a strong asset. Responsibilities
•Lead a data team of 4–10 technical professionals.
•Supervise internal and external resources involved in data migration.
•Collaborate with delivery teams, subject matter experts, and the SaaS implementation partner.
•Act as the primary point of contact for all data-related activities across functional teams and stakeholders.
•Develop and validate the data migration strategy and gain approval from stakeholders.
•Create detailed data migration plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.

•Identify and document data migration requirements and business rules.

Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•8+ years in information management or related field.
•8+ years of hands-on technical experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, including extracting and provisioning data from various legacy systems.
•8+ years of experience using SQL in Oracle, MS SQL Server, and MS Access environments.
•8+ years creating automated scripts for data testing and analysis to validate accuracy and integrity of migrated data.
•4+ years leading technical teams on complex data migration and cleansing projects in large enterprises, including end-to-end delivery.
Scored (Preferred) Qualifications
•Full-cycle data migration analysis (discovery, mapping, extraction, cleansing, loading).
•Problem-solving and critical thinking within large-scale data migration projects.
•Handling a wide range of data formats (e.g., database extracts, Excel, JSON, CSV, etc.).
•Master Data Management (MDM), Data Governance, and Data Protection practices.
•Working in both collaborative and autonomous team environments.
•Participating in or leading at least one cloud SaaS implementation involving significant business transformation and complex data conversion (an asset).
