The ideal professional brings extensive experience in ETL design, data mapping, data governance, and data migration best practices, along with the ability to collaborate closely with SMEs, project stakeholders, and SaaS implementation partners. This position requires someone who can develop and validate migration strategies, lead discovery and profiling efforts, oversee data cleansing, manage risks, and deliver audit-ready reporting to demonstrate quality control at every phase. Candidates with prior experience supporting CAMA projects within government service delivery environments will be particularly well suited for this important initiative.

Responsibilities
•Lead a team of data specialists, oversee project tasks, and support the project manager in delivering all data migration activities.
•Work closely with SMEs, delivery teams, and the SaaS implementation partner to define, document, and communicate data migration requirements.
•Build and maintain an inventory of all legacy data sources and assets.
•Develop, validate, and manage approval of the data migration strategy and create detailed plans for its execution.
•Produce data migration specifications, including mapping, translation rules, and cleansing requirements, and oversee all data cleansing activities.
•Coordinate data migration needs across integrated systems and align system owners with migration activities.
•Identify, manage, and monitor project risks and issues related to data migration.
•Lead data governance discussions, provide status reporting, and deliver comparative analysis to confirm data quality and readiness.
•Prepare quality control and audit-ready reports for use by the Auditor General prior to go-live phases.
Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
•At least 6 years of experience in information management or a related field.
•6+ years of technical leadership experience managing diverse teams on complex data migration projects in large enterprises.
•8+ years of hands-on ETL experience involving extraction and provisioning of data from multiple legacy systems.
•8+ years of experience applying data migration best practices and data mapping.
•3+ years of experience working on CAMA projects within provincial government property assessment programs.
Scored Qualifications
•8+ years of experience in data migration analysis (data discovery, mapping, extraction, cleansing, loading).
•6+ years of experience working with various data formats (database extracts, spreadsheets, JSON, CSV, etc.).
•6+ years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, and Data Protection.
•4+ years of experience working in environments requiring both collaborative and independent work.
•2+ years of experience supporting CAMA projects within government service delivery agencies.
•Experience with at least one SaaS implementation involving complex data conversion (asset).
