Responsibilities
Responsabilities of the delivery driver for Edmonton company:
• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle (cargo cube van)
• Navigate the Edmonton area and surrounding regions using GPS and in-depth knowledge of local traffic patterns.
• Perform warehouse duties including loading and unloading trucks using manual pump trucks and forklifts.
• Maintain accurate digital delivery records, including confirmation signatures and receipts via electronic data entry.
• Adhere to strict delivery schedules to ensure first responders and contractors receive critical equipment on time.
• Communicate effectively with the warehouse manager and customer service teams regarding route status.
• Ensure the delivery vehicle is kept clean and report any maintenance requirements promptly.
• Assist with inventory organization and rack storage within the mid-size warehouse facility.
• Follow all safety protocols, particularly when delivering to sensitive sites like hospitals and construction zones.
Qualifications
Requirements for that position:
• Valid G class driver’s license with a clean CVOR and Driver’s Abstract.
• At least 2 years of proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a warehouse associate role.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
• Proficiency in using GPS navigation and basic office software/computers.
• Familiarity with operating manual pump trucks; forklift experience is a strong asset.
• Ability to provide a clean criminal record check upon request.
