Responsibilities
Develop publishable versions of a 60-page bilingual campaign plan for both print and digital platforms (PDF, Canada.ca standards)
Format and design supporting communication products, such as retractable banners, posters, charts, and assorted items
Plan and prepare layouts, positioning of text, images, and figures to maximize impact and clarity
Ensure all products meet federal government and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.x)
Collaborate with the project authority and coordinators for direction and feedback during business hours (15 hours/week)
Participate in an initial orientation session on-site at the designated campus
Provide final products in MS Word and PowerPoint formats to allow future editing and use in presentations
Qualifications
Proven experience in desktop publishing and graphic design for federal or public-sector documents
Strong knowledge of design standards, accessibility requirements, and bilingual (English/French) product development
Ability to design layouts, integrate text and visuals, and adapt content into professional, publication-ready products
Experience producing both print-ready and digital-ready publications
Familiarity with federal branding and style guidelines
Enhanced Security Clearance Required
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders
