Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and implement secure software components for the client's secure portal.
- Document technical specifications, system designs, and implementation details.
- Support the secure submission of sensitive medical documentation and special collection forms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues related to functionality, data integrity, and user access.
- Participate in the planning and estimation of development tasks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the portal meets accessibility, privacy, and security requirements.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Single Page Application (SPA) development using technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and frameworks such as Backbone and React.
- Strong experience with REST API integration using JSON and XML.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision on application architecture, including creating and managing technical documents, risk assessments, and accessibility compliance.
- Extensive experience in root cause analysis and troubleshooting application outages.
- Experience developing and/or maintaining large-scale IT applications within a multidisciplinary project team.
- Experience developing digital products that comply with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.x AA, AODA, WAI-ARIA).
- A post-secondary degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
