Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical advice and development support for the design, sustainment, and implementation of internal application solutions.
- Act as a technical lead, utilizing project management skills to coordinate planning, testing, and implementation for complex IT projects.
- Perform detailed analysis of business processes and data to identify problems; document "as-is" and "to-be" processes and conduct comprehensive gap analyses.
- Apply UCD techniques and Design Thinking to transform user requirements into prototype design mock-ups and robust system architectures.
- Execute advanced coding for development and troubleshooting using SQL and Oracle PL/SQL, while managing Oracle or Microsoft SQL databases and Microsoft IIS.
- Develop, maintain, and execute rigorous test plans to ensure system integrity and alignment with business objectives.
- Resolve conflicting business priorities through expert negotiation with corporate clients and multidisciplinary project teams.
Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Considerable experience with Oracle PL/SQL coding, Oracle APEX, and the management of Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Extensive experience in designing user interface specifications based on client research, industry best practices, and user-centered design (UCD) principles.
- Proven ability to perform detailed data analysis and document complex business process workflows.
- Senior-level experience planning and implementing industrial or information technology systems within a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present technical information to diverse audiences.
