Responsibilities
• Assess security risks, technical constraints, and vulnerabilities across assigned legacy infrastructure and applications.
• Develop practical security designs, compensating controls, and architecture recommendations to mitigate identified risks.
• Provide technical guidance on network isolation, segmentation, shielding, remediation, and system decommissioning decisions.
• Review proposed production changes to evaluate operational continuity, security posture, and implementation impacts.
• Produce complete architecture decision records, technical requirements, implementation guides, and security acceptance criteria.
• Document security options, trade-offs, and technical assumptions to support informed decision-making across leadership.
• Facilitate alignment across enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application development teams.
Qualifications
• Seven or more years of cybersecurity experience focused on security architecture, network security, and infrastructure.
• Proven background designing security controls and remediation strategies within live enterprise production environments.
• Strong practical knowledge of AWS security architecture, including tools like AWS WAF, Security Hub, GuardDuty, and Inspector.
• Experience applying industry security frameworks such as NIST CSF and CIS Controls in active delivery projects.
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Security, with certifications like CISSP, AWS Security Specialty, or OSCP preferred.
