Responsibilities
Strategic Vendor Management: Oversee the 80/20 vendor relationship model, collaborating with Tier 1 global IT providers to maximize partnership value.
Budget Oversight: Manage Market Development and Earned Funds ensuring funds are strategically allocated for events, lead generation, and brand awareness.
Program Compliance: Overseeing rebate program and manage the critical training and certification programs that maintain the firm’s high-ranking status with suppliers.
Event Leadership: Design and execute high-touch C-suite events, industry conferences, and customer-centric experiences .
Relationship Building: Serve as a key liaison between the internal team, C-suite executives, and external partners to ensure seamless communication and business growth.
Qualifications
Professional Experience: 7+ years of proven leadership in marketing, program management, or channel marketing, ideally within the IT solutions, reseller, or data center industry.
Interpersonal Excellence: Exceptional ability to engage with C-suite executives, global vendors, and government partners.
Strategic & Tactical Balance: Ability to switch between high-level marketing strategy and the tactical execution of events and certification tracking.
Location: Must be based in the Ottawa, ON area to facilitate frequent face-to-face interactions with vendors and clients.
Customer-Centric Mindset: A dedication to "going the extra mile" in a service-oriented environment.
