Responsibilities
Director of Care - Future Opportunities - Ontario
Key Responsibilities (may vary by client site):
✔ Support the planning and delivery of resident care, ensuring alignment with care standards and clinical excellence.
✔ Mentor, coach, and guide staff to foster a positive and collaborative care environment.
✔ Promote open, respectful communication with residents and their families to ensure individual needs are met.
✔ Provide leadership during health emergencies and ensure adherence to IPAC protocols and best practices.
✔ Assist with audits, reporting, scheduling, and documentation as part of the leadership team.
✔ Other duties as required by our partner facility.
Qualifications
Director of Care - Future Opportunities - Ontario
✔ Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO); Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
✔ Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a long-term care or relevant healthcare setting.
✔ Strong knowledge of Ontario’s long-term care regulations and standards.
✔ Proficiency with electronic medical records systems and Microsoft Office tools.
