Unlike high-rack storage roles, this job is focused on the constant, fast movement of freight on the loading dock. You will play an essential role in ensuring trailers are loaded and unloaded quickly, staging pallets for shipments, and keeping the dock organized, clean, and safe. Your work will directly support the flow of inbound and outbound freight and contribute to the efficiency of our new operation.
This position offers a steady Monday to Friday schedule starting at 7:00 AM, giving you predictable hours and free weekends. We are offering a competitive wage of $21.00–$22.00 per hour, paid weekly. Responsibilities
Safely operate a Dock Stocker (Stand-Up Counterbalance) to efficiently load and unload transport trailers throughout the shift.
Stage pallets and organize freight on the dock to maintain smooth outbound and inbound workflow.
Verify product codes, quantities, and documentation using manual pick lists to ensure accuracy before shipment or receiving.
Complete daily pre-operation equipment inspections (PDI) and promptly report any mechanical concerns or safety hazards.
Support general dock activities, including wrapping pallets, assisting with manual handling tasks, and keeping the dock area free of debris.
Qualifications
Valid Dock Stocker / Stand-Up Counterbalance certification is required.
1–2 years of recent experience operating a Dock Stocker in a warehouse or cross-dock environment.
Must have a personal vehicle to travel to Balzac/Rocky View, AB, as the location is not accessible by public transit.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse duties as required.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
