Responsibilities
Perform preventive, predictive, reactive, and emergency maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-related issues to minimize downtime
Support high-speed manufacturing lines and ensure maximum equipment reliability and efficiency
Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and repair documentation through CMMS systems
Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement long-term corrective actions
Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams on technical projects and operational improvements
Support troubleshooting and maintenance activities during off-shift or weekend coverage as required
Work alongside external contractors and equipment vendors during projects and shutdowns
Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, SQF, food safety, and workplace safety standards
Contribute to the development of maintenance procedures, SOPs, and technical training documentation
Qualifications
Valid Industrial Electrician 442A or 309A license required
Valid Industrial Millwright 433A license required
Previous maintenance experience within food, beverage, packaging, or consumer goods manufacturing environments
Strong troubleshooting skills involving PLCs, motors, sensors, drives, conveyors, and automated production equipment
Experience with CMMS systems and preventative maintenance programs
Ability to perform root cause analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives
Comfortable working in fast-paced production environments with changing priorities
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under limited supervision
Flexible to support overtime and weekend maintenance coverage when required
