Responsibilities
* Operate edgebanding machines to apply edgebanding material to various wood components.
* Adjust machine settings to achieve precise edgebanding application, ensuring proper adhesion and a seamless finish.
* Inspect finished products for quality, identifying and correcting any defects.
* Operate other CNC or manual woodworking machines as needed, such as saws, routers, sanders, etc.
* Perform routine maintenance on edgebanding and other woodworking machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and basic troubleshooting.
* Handle and stage wood components for edgebanding and other woodworking processes.
* Ensure proper material flow and organization in the work area.
* Inspect finished pieces for quality, ensuring they meet client specifications and standards.
* Identify and report any defects or inconsistencies.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications
3-5 years of proven experience operating edgebanding machines in a woodworking environment.
Demonstrated ability to set up, program, and operate CNC or manual woodworking machines.
Strong understanding of woodworking processes, materials, and techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
