This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead a high-performance engineering team and manage key projects within the Electrical Product Design group. The Electrical Engineering Manager oversees the strategic planning and implementation of electrical design efforts within the engineering department. This role is also responsible for leading and developing the team to enhance the productivity and success of the electrical design and build process in alignment with the company’s objectives.

Responsibilities
Manage the delivery of customer requirements by overseeing all phases of electrical design and implementation.
Develop and prepare electrical schematics by creating design concepts and conducting necessary research, calculations, and analysis within the electrical group.
Ensure that electrical design reviews are conducted and recorded according to project milestones, as documented on the PM intranet.
Guarantee that engineering specifications and related documents are saved correctly and stored as per department guidelines.
Support the company Product Development Process by participating in M3 kickoff meetings, design checkpoints, and phase-related sessions.
Promote cross-training and skill development among employees by offering opportunities and encouraging improvement.
Enhance technical and professional knowledge by attending relevant training and reviewing industry literature.
Complete assigned projects successfully by releasing long-lead and standard parts in a timely manner.
Ensure all electrical designs comply with the company’s standards and fulfill project-specific requirements based on customer purchase orders.
Verify the accuracy of electrical designs and associated drawings.
Guarantee that electrical designs are completed and released by the M8 timeline.
Provide support during the M8–M12 project stages by addressing issues related to manufacturing, assembly, testing, and warranty.
Organize prompt on-site support for service-related matters, including installations and training.
Collaborate with leadership and team members to ensure procedures are followed and high-quality designs are delivered in support of personal, departmental, and organizational goals.
Share information regarding engineering and broader company or department matters.
Define job expectations and offer ongoing guidance, performance monitoring, mentoring, and corrective action as needed.
Foster a cooperative and productive work environment with all team members at the company.
Implement and uphold company and departmental processes and standards.
Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy when interacting with clients, vendors, and other team members.
Maintain a constructive and enthusiastic approach at work.
Follow the Occupational Health and Safety Act along with the policies set out in the company’s Health and Safety Manual.
Adhere to all plant safety protocols.
Abide by company policies and procedures detailed in the Employee Handbook.
Follow ISO-related department processes and actively contribute ideas for improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related field.
Minimum of four years' experience in an engineering role within a capital equipment environment, including leadership, project management, and design responsibilities.
Strong computer skills with proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or comparable advanced design tools; understanding of PLC control systems.
Capability to produce electrical design concepts and detailed layouts using the company’s standard CAD platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in engineering contexts.
Knowledge and experience working with a variety of electrical control systems.
Familiarity with company products and the related manufacturing operations.
Fast-moving work environment with time-sensitive deliverables that may occasionally require extended work hours.
Standard conditions of an office and manufacturing facility, including exposure to noise, dust, and fumes, with extended periods at a desk using a computer.
Must be self-directed and adaptable to changing work conditions. Occasional travel to customers, suppliers, and other company sites is required
