Responsibilities
Your Mission
You will be the primary technical authority for our control systems, responsible for:
System Architecture: Designing, developing, and implementing robust Control Systems for brand-new machinery.
The Language of Machines: Programming and fine-tuning a variety of PLC programs & HMI, and Servo systems.
Robotics Integration: Leading the charge on automation, robotics programming, and electrical system integration.
Blueprint to Reality: Designing control panels and wiring diagrams (AutoCAD), creating BOMs, and supervising machine startups and process launches.
Continuous Evolution: Driving "Press Appreciation" projects (rebuilds/repairs) and implementing automation cell improvements.
High-Voltage Diagnostics: Expertly troubleshooting systems up to 575V, utilizing your deep understanding of Wonderware software.
Qualifications
What You Bring to the Team
Educational Foundation: A University Degree in Electrical Engineering or a specialized College Diploma.
Proven Track Record: At least 5+ years of demonstrated success in controls and data acquisition
Technical Toolbox: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office, with a natural ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams.
Press Expertise: If you have experience with Cincinnati, Dorst, or SMS presses, you’re exactly who we’re looking for.
Physical Agility: You are comfortable in a "hands-on" environment—climbing, crouching, and navigating the manufacturing floor with a sense of urgency.
Bonus Points For:
Previous Automotive experience
The resilience to thrive in a physically demanding, fast-paced industrial environment.
