We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Technician III to support the safe and efficient operation of critical electrical infrastructure. This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical and related equipment within a dynamic industrial environment.

Responsibilities
What you'll do:
Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on electrical equipment including valves, motors, turbine/PD meters, sampling systems, relief systems, and other devices.
Coordination: Work closely with supervisors, planners, mechanical and electrical technicians, control room operators (CCO), regional support, contractors, and project/logistics management to plan and complete work safely.
Compliance: Ensure all maintenance meets regulatory requirements and adheres to O&M procedures.
Emergency Response: Participate in on-call rotation for emergency and critical maintenance needs.
Documentation: Maintain facility records and update electrical drawings/documentation.
Safety & Training: Stay current on mandatory safety/technical training and uphold company safety policies and values.
Qualifications
What you need:
Education/Certification: High School Diploma (or equivalent) and Journeyperson Electrical certification (provincial or interprovincial).
Assets: Instrumentation background is a strong advantage.
Experience: 2–5 years in an industrial environment or similar field operations.
License: Valid Class 5 driver’s license in good standing.
Personal Attributes: Strong work ethic, computer proficiency, willingness to learn, positive attitude, and ability to collaborate effectively.
Comfortable working around high-voltage equipment, transformers, switchgear, and MCCs.
Able to work in hazardous/restricted areas (pump rooms, confined spaces, classified areas).
Physically able to work outdoors in various weather; lift up to 50 lbs; perform standing, bending, walking, crouching.
Willing to travel and participate in on-call duties.
