Job Title: Electromechanical Assembler
Location: Kitchener, ON
Position Type: 3-Month Contract (with potential for extension)
Hours: Day Shift 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Monday to Friday
Salary: $22.00 – $25.00 / hour (depending on experience)

Responsibilities
As an Electromechanical Assembler, your primary responsibilities will include:
Performing electromechanical assembly of robotic platforms according to detailed technical specifications.
Utilizing hand tools, torque tools, drills, and hoisting equipment safely and effectively.
Executing precise cable installation and wire routing.
Rotating through various assembly stations to foster team cross-training and flexibility.
Navigating digital work instructions via the VKS system on a computer.
Using an ERP system to accurately track build times and input serial numbers for work orders.
Maintaining a clean, safe workspace adhering to 5S guidelines, along with general production area and equipment maintenance.
Handling other production duties as assigned by the team lead.
Qualifications
The Essentials (What You Bring):
Education: Completed High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: Proven experience in manual product assembly; experience with wiring or cable installation is highly preferred.
Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with common tools (screwdrivers, hammers, electric drills, etc.).
Tech Savvy: Practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel and GSuite; ability to follow digital, English-written assembly instructions.
Physical Capability: Ability to comfortably lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Soft Skills: A positive, professional attitude with a safety-first mindset, the ability to work independently, and adaptability to changing project deadlines.
