Premium Pay: Earn between $55 and $60 per hour, based on your extensive experience.
Consistent Overtime: The average workweek is 48 hours, including guaranteed Sunday shifts for scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) at 1.5x pay.
Straight Day Shift: Enjoy a consistent 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. schedule, Monday to Friday.
Impactful Role: Your expertise will be immediately valued and relied upon as you lead the electrical and PLC/ Circuit Board maintenance efforts for our facility
Responsibilities
Advanced Diagnostics: Troubleshoot, repair, and service a wide range of industrial equipment, including conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, pumps, gearboxes, hoists, and overhead cranes.
Circuit Board & Controller Expertise: You will be the team's specialist in diagnosing and fixing circuit board malfunctions, and you must be proficient in working on controllers and other electronic components.
PLC Programming: Utilize your extensive knowledge of Allen Bradley and Studio 5000 PLCs to troubleshoot existing systems, modify programs, and ensure seamless automation.
Blueprint & Schematic Interpretation: Confidently read and interpret complex electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams to guide your work.
Fabrication & Welding: Use your welding skills and machine tools (band saws, grinders, drill presses) to fabricate and repair parts as needed.
Hoisting & Lifting: Safely operate hoists, jacks, and pulley chains to move and position heavy machinery.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who is ready to hit the ground running.
ou must possess:
A minimum of 10 years of hands-on, related experience in an automotive manufacturing or heavy equipment environment.
Proven expertise in electrical and electronic troubleshooting, with a strong focus on circuit boards and PLC systems.
In-depth knowledge of Allen Bradley and Studio 5000 PLCs is a must.
Experience with Electric Deposition (E-Coating) or similar processes like electroplating, powder coating, or high-volume painting is a major asset.
The ability to work independently and take full ownership of your work, from diagnosis to repair.
Experience with working at heights and in confined spaces.
A strategic mindset with the ability to "see the bigger picture" and contribute to the team's overall success
