📍Downtown Toronto (Billy Bishop Airport)
đź•’ Straight Day Shift: 5:30 AM start 10-hour shifts
Must be able to work every other weekend
Pay Rate: $27-30/hr

Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on baggage handling and conveyor systems
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on motors, gearboxes, belts, rollers, and bearings
Support PLC and drive troubleshooting, including program reloads as needed
Inspect, align, and calibrate sensors and automated components
Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
Diagnose faults and implement effective, timely solutions to minimize downtime
Collaborate with operations and automation teams to support system performance
Complete maintenance logs and work orders using a CMMS system
Follow all health & safety, 5S, and operational procedures
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical/Mechanical Technology, or related field
1+ year of relevant experience in maintenance or automation
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with basic electrical knowledge
Exposure to conveyors, automation systems, or PLCs is an asset
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Solid problem-solving ability with a hands-on, analytical approach
Proficient with basic computer systems (MS Office / CMMS)
Team-oriented with strong attention to detail and reliability
