What You'll Do
As a member of the Energy Conservation DSM Industrial Team, you will work closely with a diverse portfolio of agricultural and greenhouse customers across Ontario. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of facilities and processes while helping customers better understand their energy use and identify opportunities for improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
Building trusted, long-term relationships with customers and becoming their preferred energy efficiency advisor.
Analyzing facility operations and identifying opportunities to reduce energy consumption and improve performance.
Developing technical analyses and energy savings calculations to support project business cases and investment decisions.
Communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Managing multiple customer projects and priorities while delivering against annual program targets.
Working independently to manage your customer portfolio while collaborating closely with colleagues to achieve team objectives.
Continuously identifying new opportunities and building a sustainable pipeline of energy efficiency projects.
Who You Are
You are a technically strong, customer-focused professional who enjoys solving complex problems and driving meaningful results.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred).
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility for membership with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
Energy management certification (e.g., Certified Energy Manager) is considered an asset.
Minimum 4 years of experience in process engineering, project engineering, continuous improvement, technical consulting, or a related industrial environment.
Skills and Experience
Strong ability to influence and lead stakeholders without direct authority.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a results-driven environment.
