Responsibilities
As an Engineer Lead
You will:
Lead multiple POD teams delivering business-critical features using a DevOps approach
Act as both application analyst and developer to design and implement IT solutions
Own and manage the ISO20022 migration program across 50+ countries
Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze needs and recommend IT solutions
Facilitate communication and maintain strong relationships with key contacts
Ensure high-quality deliverables through rigorous testing and documentation
Maintain production stability and provide incident support
Qualifications
MUST HAVE TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Java 8, Tomcat, Jetty
Spring Boot Framework
JavaScript, HTML
Oracle Coherence, Oracle Database
Collaboration tools: JIRA, Confluence, GitHub
CI/CD tools: Maven, Jenkins, Ansible
Linux environment
Agile methodology
Nice-to-Have
UI development experience
Microservice architecture
QUALIFICATIONS:
University degree in IT or related field
Minimum 6 years’ experience in IT, preferably on large, complex global projects
Strong hands-on Java and Linux application development experience
Solid background in automated testing, DevOps, and CI/CD pipeline setup
Experience with banking applications and production support management
Excellent project, change, and time management skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills
Proactive, self-driven, able to work independently under pressure
Bonus: Exposure to SWIFT messaging/ISO20022, treasury products, and back-office workflows
