Responsibilities
Operational Leadership: Provide daily guidance to the engineering workforce, fostering a culture anchored in our client’s core values.
Process Optimization: Lead problem-solving efforts to reduce downtime and improve throughput across production, returns, and reconditioning operations.
Strategic Collaboration: Partner with the Business System Tech team on data analytics and coordinate with IT to refine shop management systems.
Product Lifecycle: Support new product development through specialized service documentation, tooling, and production launch support.
Quality & 6S: Own the Hub’s quality processes and lead 6S (5S + Safety) initiatives to ensure a world-class operating environment.
Qualifications
Technical Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical) or Operations Management.
Proven Experience: 5+ years in production-related engineering and 3+ years of direct people leadership.
Technical Savvy: Strong experience with ERP systems; expertise in Oracle or Tier 1 WMS is a major plus.
Growth Mentality: Experience navigating startup or high-growth environments and a willingness to travel (up to 75% during initial setup; 50% post-launch).
Communication: Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills across distributed and international teams.
