Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Management: Direct building envelope projects from initial business development and estimating through to final project completion.
Financial Oversight: Protect the organization's financial interests by managing project budgets, executing timely progress billings, coding invoices, and generating accurate monthly forecasts.
Contract & Risk Administration: Review contracts to mitigate risks and ensure all construction adheres to design specifications, approved budgets, and schedules.
Logistics & Site Coordination: Orchestrate complex logistics, including material takeoffs, equipment transport to remote locations (via barge), and crew travel/accommodations for site turnarounds.
Team Leadership: Coach, mentor, and evaluate direct reports and site superintendents to ensure high performance and strict cost control.
Documentation & Compliance: Diligently process RFIs, Site Instructions, change orders, purchase orders, and shop drawings. Ensure all testing, inspections, and closeout documents (including As-Builts and manuals) are finalized and submitted.
Health & Safety: Actively promote exceptional building practices and rigorously enforce OH&S standards across all project sites.
Planning & Communication: Develop and maintain project schedules while facilitating transparent communication with senior management, clients, and subcontractors.
Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional Project Management experience, with a specialized focus on building envelope systems.
Project Execution: Proven ability to successfully navigate and manage multiple, concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
Business Acumen: An entrepreneurial mindset with a strong capability for business development, estimating, and tender management.
Technical Proficiency: Solid IT literacy and a strong aptitude for utilizing project management and financial tracking software.
Core Competencies: Exceptional organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
