Responsibilities
- Act as the HSE liaison for all locations, providing technical expertise to support their tactical HSE programs and plans.
- Develop, implement, maintain, monitor, and continuously improve HSE programs.
- Oversee specific HSE programs across locations to ensure compliance with corporate policies and applicable country, state/provincial regulatory requirements.
- Standardize, evaluate, and improve HSEKPI's and metrics, such as safety indexes, across the organization.
- Ensure all locations maintain ISO 14001 registration and assist in modifying related Management System documentation.
- Analyze and communicate trends through investigations, audit findings, and corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Occupational Health & Safety certification.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing environments,
- Working knowledge of the Ontario Health & Safety Act and Regulations, and ability to keep up to date on all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation.
- Auditor training for ISO 14000 or 18000 systems.
- Working knowledge and/or relative training in Environmental legislation
