on of hardscape features on some of the most beautiful properties and shorelines in the area. The work is diverse, encompassing granite patios, walkways, staircases, natural stone retaining features, general site work, drainage, septic systems, blasting, and road/driveway construction. The successful candidate will work in a team of 2-5 people, operating a variety of heavy equipment and hand/power tools to complete these demanding hardscape installations. This is a full-time position with a season running from late winter/early spring to late fall, with projects often continuing into the winter months. The typical work week is Monday to Friday, no weekends.

Responsibilities
◾Operate heavy equipment, including skid steers, 5-20 ton excavators, wheeled loaders, and other construction machinery, for site development and landscape installation.
◾Serve as a Project Supervisor, leading a team of 2-5 people and utilizing excellent communication and team management skills.
◾Read and accurately interpret construction drawings and landscape plans.
◾Operate laser leveling equipment and apply best practices for surface grading and drainage infrastructure.
◾Complete complex hardscape installations using a variety of equipment, hand, and power tools.
◾Maintain a high level of safety consciousness and contribute to a safe workplace through best practices at all times.
Qualifications
◾Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Landscape Construction or a related field
◾Minimum of 4+ years of experience operating heavy equipment such as skid steer, 5-20 ton Excavator, Wheeled loader, and/or other construction equipment.
◾Previous experience in reading construction drawings and landscape plans.
◾Experience in the operation of laser leveling equipment and knowledge of surface grading and drainage infrastructure.
◾Possess excellent communication and team management skills.
◾Be safety conscious and in good physical condition.
◾Have reliable transportation to and from job sites.
