Position: Forklift Operator
Term: Contract (3 Weeks) with potential for a permanent position
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Compensation: $20 - $21 per hour, depending on experience
Location: Acheson, AB

Responsibilities
Material Handling & Equipment: Expertly operate specialized equipment, including stand-up electric narrow aisle/ reach truck and counterbalance forklifts.
Logistics & Distribution: Coordinate all aspects of material staging and transfer, including efficient loading and unloading of transport vehicles for shipping and receiving.
Physical Strength: Routinely perform sustained manual labor, capable of safely handling loads weighing up to 50-75 lbs.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all established safety protocols and actively maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications
Expertise and Certifications
Valid forklift Reach and SDCB certification with hands-on proficiency in utilizing both stand-up electric narrow aisle and counterbalance forklifts.
Physical Capability
Proven capacity for performing strenuous manual tasks, including the frequent and safe execution of heavy lifting.
Teamwork and Communication
Possesses excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective written and verbal communication. Highly adaptable, with the ability to perform autonomously while also collaborating effectively within a team-centric environments
Commitment to Performance
Demonstrates a strong, reliable work ethic and an unwavering commitment to maintaining all safety standards and operational excellence.
