Responsibilities
- Manually retrieve and move fabric rolls weighing up to 50 lbs from storage to the cutting station.
- Efficiently lay out and align fabric on the cutting table to ensure smooth, wrinkle-free processing.
- Position patterns onto the fabric with high precision to minimize waste and ensure design accuracy.
- Operate an industrial electric knife and other power tools to cut fabric according to specific patterns.
- Maintain a keen eye for detail to identify fabric defects or measurement errors during the cutting process.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and remain standing/moving for the duration of a 4-hour shift (and eventually an 8-hour shift).
- Prior experience operating power tools is required.
- Excellent punctuality is a must; our production flow depends on everyone being at their station on time.
- The ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high level of attention to detail and safety.
