Fabrication plant supervisor

Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations as a Fabrication Plant Supervisor, directing manufacturing and field service activities while mentoring shop floor personnel.
- Partner with the plant manager, sales teams, and engineering specialists to execute technical project plans on time and within budget constraints.
- Maintain strict inventory control through routine cycle audits and accurate material tracking across all active production runs.
- Support bid preparation by providing technical insight on project specifications, custom estimates, and new product offerings.
- Champion workplace health and safety initiatives while ensuring staff training fully aligns with standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in a leadership capacity within the industrial management sector, ideally supported by 5 to 8 years in infrastructure contracting or construction management.
- Strong background overseeing custom assembly, shop floor production, or specialized manufacturing workflows.
- Solid grasp of project management fundamentals, cost estimation, scheduling, constructability, and lean production practices such as 5S.
- Advanced computer literacy with MS Office, including strong proficiency in Excel, alongside CAD knowledge or an engineering technologist background.
- Exceptional communication, time management, and problem-solving capabilities, with the availability to travel locally or internationally on occasion.
