Field Service Technician - $41 to $46 per hour - Saskatoon, SK

If so, We'd like to meet you! Our client, a global leader in industrial food processing equipment is looking for a Saskatoon based service technician to support their local clientele base.
This is a fully remote, field-based role. You’ll be provided with a tooled company service vehicle, cellphone, and laptop. Coordinating daily and weekly work orders via client maintenance CRM, and managing service calls.
You’ll travel to various customer sites throughout the province to support installs, perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
This is a great role for someone who enjoys working on different projects and interacting with multiple teams on-site, and a successful candidate will ideally have field services and maintenance experience.
Role: Service Technician
Schedule: Typically Monday to Friday daytime (with OT as needed) and monitoring work cell to triage after hours emergancy breaks downs
Pay Rate: $40+/hour (based on experience and qualifications) OT past 40 hours and double time on the weekends
Environment: Field-based role with travel to customer sites in the food sector
Car provided after 6 months of service

Responsibilities
What you’ll be doing:
- interact with senior management and maintenance teams
- troubleshoot equipment issues and perform appropriate repairs
- work with various food processing equipment including: mixing, blending, emulsifying, batch cooking, sausage filling lines, linking equipment for meat and food processors
- travel to different sites within Ontario and be in a customer facing role
Qualifications
What we're looking for:
- Prior experience working as a Service Technician - full understanding of electrical codes with a mechanical aptitude
- Preference for 433a Millwright license or 442a Industrial Electrician, however strong mechanical experience is necessary
- ability to work in a service , travel role / previous service technician experience an asset
- ability to lift 10KG to 25KG
- food equipment repair experience an asset
- ability to work flexible hours, depending on the project
- ability to be in meat, bakery, dairy settings
- valid driver's license
- computer literate (Microsoft skill set)
- professionalism to deal with clients, good time judgement skills for projects and eager to keep learning
