With a legacy of innovation and global support, they’re expanding their service team in Canada and looking for a skilled Field Service Technician based in Western Canada.
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Western Canada-based (Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, or surrounding areas preferred)
Travel: Frequent travel across Canada and the U.S. (Monday–Friday, occasional weekends)
Compensation: $41–$58/hour (based on experience)
Overtime: After 40 hours (1.5x), Saturday/Sunday (2x)
Additional Perks: Car allowance + KM reimbursement, food allowance, company credit card

Responsibilities
What you’ll be doing:
- Perform on-site installation, repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on CNC machinery
- Travel to client sites directly from your home base
- Interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics
- Provide technical support to clients in steel fabrication and manufacturing industries
- Document service visits with concise engineering reports
- Act as a key customer contact, building trust and delivering excellent service
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
- Technical diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electromechanical, or Electronic field
- Minimum 5 years of field service or CNC machine repair experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of metalworking processes (milling, drilling, sawing, plasma/oxy-fuel cutting, etc.)
- Electrical background (442A Industrial, 309A Construction, or similar) is a strong asset
- Must be able to read complex schematics and technical drawings
- Valid passport and ability to travel to the U.S. and Europe for training
- Excellent communication, self-motivation, and a customer-focused attitude
- Experience with Siemens, Fanuc, Trumpf, Amada, Mazak CNC systems is considered a strong asset
- Bilingualism (English/French) is a bonus, but not required
