What We’re Looking For:
1-3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or financial systems.
Exposure to Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
A keen interest in process improvement and financial technology.
Contract Details:
Duration: 6-month contract to start, with strong potential for extension or permanent hire
Pay Rate: $35 to $40 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
1. Dashboard Automation (Power BI Focus)
- Develop automated Power BI dashboards to visualize forecasted bookings, revenue, and other key financial metrics.
- Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders and translate them into actionable, data-driven visualizations.
- Ensure dashboards are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with IT and shared OpCo resources to integrate COMPASS (a global reporting solution combining data from multiple ERPs) with Power BI.
- Document dashboard designs and maintenance processes.
2. Forecasting & Budgeting Revamp
- Assist in the preparation, consolidation, and validation of budget submissions for the 2026 fiscal year.
- Work with finance partners and department leads to gather and input budget data.
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial data across budgeting tools (Compass, OneStream, Excel).
- Identify opportunities to streamline budgeting workflows using tools like Alteryx or other recommended solutions.
- Support the development of automated reports for forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Coordinate with finance teams and external vendors for system integration and tool enhancements.
3. Tax Compliance Support
- Assist with the preparation and timely filing of sales tax returns.
- Support the tax team in compiling documentation for income tax return filings.
- Develop dashboards to track tax compliance progress and monitor key filing deadlines.
- Work with external vendors to prepare and submit documentation for Secretary of State registrations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Data science or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in financial systems management, data analysis,
or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of financial processes, workflows, and systems is essential.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and business intelligence (BI) tools,
with a preference for experience using data visualization platforms such as Tableau
or Power BI
