Responsibilities
•Scope, define, and implement projects to optimize workflow and financial reporting processes.
•Conduct data analytics to improve accuracy, transparency, and efficiency of expense reporting.
•Support core finance activities including planning, forecasting, expense allocations, and month-end close.
•Maintain financial process integrity by ensuring proper controls are in place.
•Introduce new tools and approaches to enhance sharing of financial information with business partners.
•Develop driver-based financial metrics and insights to guide decision-making.
•Assist with documentation of processes and procedures.
Qualifications
•Expert-level proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling.
•Experience in expense analysis and financial modeling.
•Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Experience in Insurance Accounting; working knowledge of IFRS 17 is an asset.
•Proficiency in Tableau and other data visualization tools.
•CPA, MBA, or other relevant professional designation preferred.
•Understanding of insurance system accounting, data requirements, and processes.
•Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
•Strong teamwork, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
