At our facility in Vaughan, ON, you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Packaging sector as a Financial Analyst.
The Financial Analyst reports to the Plant Controller and provides support to plant accounting and manufacturing. Responsibilities include monthly closing, variance analysis and management reporting on fixed costs, production, inventory, expenses and profitability.
- Assist with monthly closing, reconciliations and daily maintenance cost reports.
- Collaborate with teams to improve profitability and standardize processes.
- Track capital project costs and coordinate inventory processes.
- Analyze fixed cost expenditures and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and provide analytical support to the Senior Controller.
- Produce monthly financial reports and analyze results for variance reporting.

- An experience of 2+ years in financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, processes, and controls.
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- Strong problem-solving, decision making and analytical skills.
- Strong Excel -must be able to create reports out of large amounts of data.
- Detail-oriented, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prepare financial reports and give recommendations based on available data.
- Good communication, and presentation skills.
