Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the finance and accounting department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to guide business decisions.
- Produce timely financial statements, management reports, and analysis for leadership.
- Support investment, product, and profitability decisions through data-driven financial insights.
- Oversee audits and ensure implementation of recommended controls and process improvements.
- Administer debt management, banking relationships, and compliance with financial obligations.
- Monitor costs, product profitability, and pricing strategies to optimize margins.
- Manage foreign exchange exposure and related financial risks.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and prepare required reports for government agencies and financial institutions.
- Drive the implementation of financial systems, policies, and process enhancements to improve departmental performance.
- Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
- Partner with executives to align financial strategy with overall business objectives.
Qualifications
- University degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 5–10 years of relevant experience.
- At least 2 years of controllership or managerial experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
