Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MIG, TIG, and Flux Core welds on stainless steel assemblies
- Read complex blueprints in both metric and imperial measurements.
- Operate fabrication machinery including drills, grinders, and cutting tools.
- Fit and tack metal components based on technical engineering drawings.
- Mentor and train junior employees and production welders.
Qualifications
- Hold a valid CWB certification or demonstrate the immediate ability to pass a CWB test.
- Possess a welding diploma from an institution such as Sheridan, Conestoga, or Humber.
- Ability to interpret complex blueprints in both metric and imperial.
- Demonstrate at least 5 years of professional experience as a Fitter-Welder.
