Custom Fitter – Jacketed Systems
Location: West Edmonton
Shift: Monday – Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (The 4x10 "Gold Standard")
Wage: $38.00 – $42.00/hour (Negotiable based on expertise)
We aren’t looking for a ticket; we are looking for a brain.
...
Our Nisku facility is scaling up production on custom, multi-layered jacketed piping systems. This isn’t standard process piping—it’s high-stakes, "outside-the-box" fabrication. Whether you are a Journeyman Pipefitter, a Millwright, a Plumber, or an un-ticketed master of your craft, we care about one thing: Can you fit complex systems with zero-leak integrity?
If you are the person who sees the solution when a blueprint looks like a puzzle, we want you on our floor.
Advantages
The 3-Day Weekend with potential for OT!
Wealth Building: 3% RRSP matching kicks in after 1 year.
Fast-Track Benefits: Full health coverage and 2 weeks vacation after just 4 months.
Shop Comfort: Long-term project stability in a clean, climate-controlled Nisku facility.
Responsibilities
Blueprint Brilliance: You don’t just read ISOs; you master sophisticated P&ID and GA drawings. You understand the "why" behind thermal spacing and internal core alignment.
Precision Fit-Ups: You’ll lead the assembly of "pipe-within-a-pipe" systems. This requires high-level accuracy on jacketed crosses, tees, and elbows.
Problem Solver: You excel at "casting adjustments" and on-the-fly technical fixes. You know how to make it work when the theory meets the reality of the shop floor.
Testing Authority: You’ll oversee high-pressure hydrostatic and pneumatic tests for both core and jacket integrity.
Qualifications
The Specialist: You might not have the "Pipefitter" title, but you have direct experience with jacketed systems, spacers, and internal alignment.
High-Pressure Mindset: You have expert-level knowledge of flange bolt patterns, torque sequences, and sealing surfaces.
The "First-Time Right" Pro: You don’t just find leaks; you prevent them. You take pride in the "internal" work that no one sees but everyone relies on.
Reliable: You have your own transportation to Nisku and the grit to handle heavy-wall, high-output fabrication.
Summary
How to Apply:
