As a Divider Machine Operator, you will be responsible for a critical part of the food production process, operating the dough divider machine to ensure product quality and consistency. This key manufacturing role requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be a proactive problem-solver and a guardian of quality, taking full ownership of your station.
What You Need to Know
Position: Temporary to Permanent
Role: Production Worker
Location: Annacis Island, BC
Pay Rate: $27.06 ($25.56/hour + $1.50 graveyard shift premium)
Rotating shift:
Sunday to Wednesday / Sunday to Tuesday
5:45PM – 5:45AM
Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in Canada
Must be punctual, dependable, and able to commit to full-time hours
Previous experience in food production is a strong asset

Responsibilities
-Machine Operation: Proven ability to operate, control, and make adjustments to industrial machinery, preferably in a manufacturing & logistics environment.
-Attention to Detail: Meticulous in monitoring machine outputs, recording data, and ensuring product specifications are met.
-Quality Control Analysis: Skilled in conducting tests and inspections of products to evaluate quality and performance.
-Teamwork and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
-Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying and reporting issues with equipment, products, or processes.
-Physical Stamina: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including standing for long periods and consistent lifting.
-Adherence to Safety: A strong commitment to following all safety rules, GMPs, and sanitation standards.
-Time Management: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to physically lift up to 25kg (55 lbs) consistently throughout the shift.
Must be flexible with start and end times, as shift timings can change based on business needs.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure production environment.
Comfortable working in a warm environment and tolerant of conditions involving dust, fumes, and noise.
Prior experience as a Machine Operator, particularly in a food processing or a related manufacturing & logistics facility, is a strong asset.
A comprehensive understanding and strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) is mandatory.
Must be able to work safely around mechanical, chemical, and electrical hazards.
