Responsibilities
- Precision Operation: Safe handling of forklifts to load, unload, and transport food products.
- Cold Storage Navigation: Operating efficiently within a specialized cooler/refrigerated warehouse environment.
- Inventory Accuracy: Utilizing RF scanners and manual logs to track movements and ensure zero discrepancies.
- Safety Compliance: Conducting pre-shift inspections and adhering to strict HACCP/SQF food safety protocols.
- Order Fulfillment: Picking and packing orders to ensure the team hits shipping targets by the end of the shift.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must hold a valid, current external forklift license.
- Experience: Previous background in food-grade manufacturing or industrial warehousing is highly preferred.
- Environment: Full comfort working 8-hour shifts in refrigerated temperatures (coolers).
- Physicality: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain high energy throughout the afternoon.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and a commitment to workplace safety.
