We are looking for an experienced forklift operator to run our cross-dock floor on their own. In this role, you will load and unload LTL trailers at a busy transportation hub. Skip the morning traffic, keep your weekends free, and start right away!

Quick Requirements:
Must have a valid sit-down counterbalance forklift license.
Must drive your own car/vehicle to our SE Calgary location.
Must be ready to start working right away.
What You Will Do:
Drive Forklift: Safely and quickly move freight across a busy cross-dock using a sit-down counterbalance forklift.
Load Trailers: Organize and load LTL freight into trailers so the weight is perfectly balanced for travel.
Work Independently: Run the dock floor on your own without needing to be micromanaged.
Stay Safe: Maintain high safety and efficiency standards in a high-volume facility.
What We Are Looking For:
Proven experience working on a cross-dock.
A strong understanding of how to properly load LTL freight.
A self-motivated worker who loves working independently.
Ability to commit to the afternoon shift and start immediately.

Responsibilities

Work independently to prioritize shipments based on departure times.
Scan and track freight using handheld devices to maintain 100% inventory accuracy.
Identify and report any damaged goods before they are loaded for transport.
Maintain a clean and organized dock floor to ensure a safe transition for the morning crew
Qualifications
Valid Forklift Ticket/Certification (Required).
Must be available for afternoon training before moving to the regular night shift.
1–2 years of experience operating a Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift.
Previous experience with LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight is a major asset.
Must have CSA-approved steel-toed boots and high-visibility gear.
