Working within the manufacturing & logistics division, you will be responsible for navigating the distribution center safely while meeting high productivity standards. Your day-to-day will involve a hybrid of equipment operation and manual logistics tasks, ensuring that every order is picked accurately and packed securely for shipment. Responsibilities
• Operate a Raymond Reach forklift and Walkie (Electric Pallet Jack) to move materials throughout the distribution center.
• Perform high-reach order picking in narrow aisles with a high degree of accuracy.
• Execute packing duties, ensuring products are labeled correctly and protected for transit.
• Utilize RF scanning technology to track inventory movements and update the warehouse management system.
• Load and unload shipping containers and trailers using manufacturing & logistics best practices.
• Conduct pre-shift inspections on all equipment to ensure a safe Forklift Operator environment.
• Assist in manual palletizing and shrink-wrapping as part of the daily distribution center workflow.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to uphold safety standards within manufacturing & logistics.
Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating a Raymond Reach and Walkie.
• Prior experience in order picking and packing in a distribution center.
• Comfort using RF scanning tools for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Valid forklift certification is required for this manufacturing & logistics role.
• Proven track record of reliability and punctuality.
• Must be available for full-time hours in Milton, Ontario.
