Responsibilities
General Duties of the Forklift Operator
- Safely operate Reach and Double Reach forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve food products.
- Load and unload shipments efficiently to keep pace with daily performance targets and KPIs.
- Perform general warehouse tasks, including handling and lifting product boxes up to 50 lbs.
- Work comfortably across various temperature-controlled environments, including cold/refrigerated and ambient areas.
- Pass an on-site practical forklift road test and complete safety retraining.
Qualifications
Key Requirements & Flexible Schedule
- Shift Flexibility: Must be flexible to work various shifts, with immediate needs on Evening and Night shifts.
- Proven Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience operating a Reach Truck (Double Reach experience is highly preferred).
- Ability to work comfortably in cold storage settings and handle repetitive physical tasks.
- Voice-Picking Ready: Good English comprehension to understand and follow automated voice-picking system instructions.
- Background Check: Clear criminal background check required prior to starting.
