Responsibilities
• Receive incoming product shipments, verify contents meticulously against purchase orders or invoices, and thoroughly inspect packages for physical damage.
• Safely operate essential warehouse equipment including stand-up reach forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move and stack heavy materials.
• Store and organize inventory logically in designated warehouse rack locations to optimize spatial utilization and warehouse flow.
• Retrieve, pick, and pack outgoing orders accurately according to pick lists, ensuring goods are securely wrapped using proper protective packaging materials.
• Generate shipping labels, arrange logistical transportation with approved carriers, and systematically track outgoing customer shipments.
• Record received inventory quantities instantly into computerized warehouse tracking databases to maintain real-time supply chain accuracy.
• Participate diligently in scheduled cycle counts and periodic inventory audits, reporting any stock level discrepancies directly to supervisors.
• Maintain general cleanliness, organization, and structural safety standards across all aisles and loading docks daily.
Qualifications
• Possession of a valid high school diploma or equivalent secondary education credential.
• Present a valid, unexpired forklift certification specifically detailing stand-up reach forklift capability.
• Demonstrated history of warehouse operations experience, with preference given to manufacturing & logistics backgrounds.
• Total compliance with mandatory on-site safety protocols, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Immediate availability to begin full-time contract work in Ottawa, ON, and commit through July 31, 2026.
