Responsibilities
Select and prepare lumber and building materials for orders related to walls and floors.
Ensure orders are complete and accurate by checking for discrepancies and addressing any issues.
Safely bundle, strap, and label material packages to ensure they are ready for the next stage of handling.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed.
Work outdoors in various weather conditions while staying focused on safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and production goals.
Continuously monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or issues.
Participate in training sessions to stay up to date with company procedures and safety standards.
Qualifications
MUST HAVE Counterbalance Forklift experience **Rough Terrain experience is a huge asset**
MUST HAVE Experience manually moving materials
MUST HAVE Quality and detail oriented
Be Capable of heavy lifting daily, and able to stand for long periods
Ability to work well as part of a team
MUST HAVE Strong communication skills
Construction background **Asset**
