Responsibilities
- Safely and precisely operate High Reach, Double Deep, and Counterbalance forklifts to transport, stack, and retrieve pallets.
- Navigate narrow aisles and operate confidently at heights, ensuring load stability, proper pallet placement, and careful handling to prevent product damage.
- Read pick tickets, labels, and warehouse documentation while using RF scanners to efficiently pull, track, and process stock.
- Complete mandatory daily pre-use forklift inspections, immediately report any equipment defects, and strictly follow warehouse traffic flow and safety rules.
- Maintain high levels of inventory control using strong basic math and counting skills during stock movements.
- Work closely with shipping, receiving, and inventory teams while committing to daily housekeeping to ensure clean, hazard-free work zones.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4–5 years of hands-on experience in warehouse, material handling, or distribution centre operations is required.
- Must possess valid, active forklift certifications for High Reach, Double Deep, and Counterbalance equipment, with a clean operating safety record.
- Exceptional spatial awareness, depth perception, and the ability to position loads accurately at high elevations.
- Comfortable using RF scanners, reading digital and physical warehouse tracking documentation, and performing basic inventory calculations.
- Ability to lift, bend, reach, and stand for extended periods in an active, fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Exceptional punctuality and dependable attendance are absolute requirements for our 10:30 AM shift start.
