Position Title: Forklift Operator
Work Location: Somerville, NB E7P 2S4
Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday; 1pm - 8pm
Pay Rate: $20.00

Responsibilities
• Operate a forklift safely to perform unloading and loading skids from delivery vehicles.
• Execute administrative duties including data entry and maintaining digital and physical logs.
• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory movement and ensure order accuracy.
• Perform wrapping skids and securing loads for safe transport within the transport and logistics hub.
• Manage shipping and receiving paperwork to ensure all documentation is compliant and organized.
• Conduct repetitive lifting (up to 50 lbs) as required to organize freight and maintain warehouse tidiness.
• Assist the logistics team with inventory counts and basic computer tasks to streamline operations.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace in accordance with transport and logistics safety standards.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in operating a sit-down forklift (with valid forklift license).
• Basic computer skills for processing warehouse documentation and emails.
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage admin duties alongside physical labor.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player in a high-pressure, deadline-driven setting.
• Attention to detail when using RF scanners and checking shipping manifests.
• Physical stamina for repetitive lifting 50 lbs.
