As a Warehouse Associate in the Manufacturing & Logistics field, you will be the backbone of the supply chain operations. This position is based at a high-functioning facility where organization and speed are paramount. Whether you are handling incoming shipments or preparing materials for delivery, your contribution ensures that the flow of goods remains seamless. In the world of Manufacturing & Logistics, every detail matters, and as a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of quality assurance and inventory management that our clients expect.
The Manufacturing & Logistics industry is constantly evolving, and we are looking for a Warehouse Associate who is ready to grow alongside it. This role offers a consistent Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, providing the work-life balance that Randstad passionately advocates for. With a competitive pay rate of $21.50/hr, this position is ideal for a Warehouse Associate who possesses a valid forklift certification (both sit-down and stand-up) and isn't afraid of a physically demanding environment that involves lifting up to 50 pounds.
Skills
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Associate within Manufacturing & Logistics.
• Proficiency in operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for inventory tracking.
• Ability to use computer systems for data entry and order processing.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and customers.
• Problem-solving mindset to handle customer complaints and logistical hurdles.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance and bin assembly.

Responsibilities

• Handle all incoming shipments and perform verification of purchased products.
• Enter order receipts accurately into the computer system.
• Perform quality assurance inspections on materials when appropriate.
• Place received material into proper warehouse storage locations after segregating backorders.
• Relocate and consolidate material while updating management on new bin or table locations.
• Pull, pack, weigh, and label materials for shipment, including assemble and hold orders.
• Prepare bills of lading, express receipts, and local delivery records.
• Assist in the manual loading and unloading of trucks.
• Inspect the condition of returned material prior to completing return authorization forms.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, trucking area, and parking lot.
• Assemble or disassemble bins, racks, shelves, and tables as required by the facility layout.
• Administer preventative maintenance programs for delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment.
• Record and process verbal or written customer complaints regarding products or services.
• Maintain counter stock and assist with over-the-counter sales transactions.
Qualifications
• Valid Forklift Certification (Sit-down and Stand-up) is mandatory.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation to the Sudbury location (568 Falconbridge Road).
• Previous experience in a warehouse or Manufacturing & Logistics setting.
• Commitment to workplace safety and following standard operating procedures.
